- Shoulder Shape Up: Tame Your Tennis Elbow, Rehab Your Rotator Cuff
- Get Back in the Swing of Things! Shoulders are capable of a large range of motion, but hours of restriction at a desk, or repetitive motion with velocity or load such as racquet sports, vinyasa or weightlifting can result in chronic pain and injuries to the rotator cuff, elbow and wrist. Though a combination of myofascial massage and corrective exercises designed to challenge your shoulder joint from every conceivable angle, this workshop will help you build your own self-care toolbox to return slide and glide to your joints and tissues. This workshop is also great for manual massage therapists—you work on your clients—learn how to work on yourself! All students welcome regardless of ability level or injury. $25

- Rotator Cuff Rescue
- The 'Rotator Cuff' isn't one thing, but four muscles which mobilize your arm in it's joint socket. More often than not, it is poor alignment coupled with repetitive motion under load (chat-a-wronga, weightlifting, yardwork, for example), as opposed to an obvious traumatic event, that leads to debilitating injury. Moreover, the compensations the body makes protecting a compromised shoulder often lead to further misalignment and vulnerability in the "good" shoulder. This Master Class will leave you with a working knowledge of the shoulder joint and teach you self-care and conscious, corrective exercises to keep your shoulders healthy, supple and injury-free, or set you on the path to a healthy recovery. Appropriate for all levels. No yoga experience necessary. $25

- The hip is a simple joint, but seems wildly complicated due to the overwhelming number of muscular attachments, and the aches and pains that come from “tight hips.” Inflexible hips can wreak havoc in your body, restricting even the simplest movements. Tight hamstrings lead to postural imbalances and back pain, while bound hip flexors limit abdominal strength. This workshop will re-educate your hips, tissue by tissue, restoring fluid, effortless and connected movement.

- Boost Your Balance
- The body contracts in response to perceived instability. How do you move when you see a 'Caution: Slippery Floor” sign? Are you loose and easy with your walking gait, or do you slow down, tighten up and shuffle out of fear of falling? Unfortunately, by making and keeping our muscles rigid, we only increase the risk of losing our balance. In this workshop you will refine you balance proprioception from the ground up, strengthening all of the balance and postural muscles that will keep you on your feet.

- Refine Your Spine
- Back pain strikes most people at some point, and can become chronic or even debilitating. Postural accommodations we make to avoid discomfort (or caused by scoliosis) are reinforced by gravity and habit, and can become the catalyst for rotator cuff injuries, respiratory and thyroid dysfunction, not to mention slipped discs. This workshop will help you recondition your spinal blind spots with myofascial massage and exercises targeting your low, middle and upper back. - Poor knees—they only do what the feet tell them to! If your feet don't move well or you have foot issues like bunions and plantar fasciitis, your knees may be paying the price. In this workshop learn how to address imbalances in your feet that can make your knees vulnerable, as well as strengthen all the muscles of your knee joint. Your back will thank you, too. The exercises in this workshop can be done in a chair or on the floor.
