Jillian was drawn to yoga at the age of 16 to help her rehabilitate a neck injury. She not only found physical healing in yoga, but also emotional and mental healing as well. She practiced yoga throughout her college years and graduate school as a way to calm her overactive mind. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Jillian completed her first training in Vinyasa Yoga. It was then that she decided to share her love for yoga to others through teaching. She completed her second 200hr training in Forrest yoga with Ana Forrest in 2008. After teaching for several years, Jillian found a renewed of love of yoga when first introduced to Yoga Tune Up®, and went on to complete the level 1 training with Jill Miller in September 2010. In addition to her yoga studies, Jillian also practices the art of bodywork and is a licensed massage therapist. Jillian incorporates her background of psychology, anatomy and Chinese medicine to bring her students a class that is challenging, informative and a bit playful. Jillian is truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of her students’ physical, emotional and spiritual transformations.
